Beautiful composition. I love the very out of focus background and the beautiful pink of the flower. If the bug was in focus, too, you'd have a winner here in my opinion, but it is not in focus. I wonder what camera settings you used, I've started to use shutterpriority more and more for these shots because getting a certain shutterspeed is crucial to getting the insect in focus and in the end that's what it's all about. Higher ISO sometimes also does the trick if your camera allows it. I got to repeat it though, I do like the composition and framing :) |

The bee suffers from motion blur due to a shutter speed too slow to freeze motion. It would also be a more powerful bee image if the flower was mostly cropped out. I can tell that this image was over-sharpened to try to compensate for the blur. |

Great shot.. but a pity the flower took the attention off the bee..

Nice bee shot. Looks like focus point is slightly in front of the bee, but colours and compostion are attractive. |
