Wow Franziska, you amaze me every time with your images. B&W was an interesting look, to set you apart from the rest of the field. It could use more DOF, but overall GREAT! |

WOW i can't believe this is sitting down here. your choice of b&w is very bold and to me it works extremely well. very nice job. i just saw the color version it is just as striking and maybe even more engaging. man you got robbed!! adding to my favorites

Good sharpness on the head - interesting choise to go for B&W, but it works. A bit more DOF wouldn't go amisee though. |

Nice, sharp black and white photo. It doesn't really appear like it's looking at the viewer as the title implies, though. |

Great focus makes the composition so much better. The field of depth really brings the insect alive. Beautiful reflections. |

The black and white tones have a very good range in your shot, but I think dragon flies tend to be very colorful and I think I wish I could see his colors. Good clear image tho. The leaf composition and depth of field are very well done. |

Very nice, but I can't work out why this is in b&w. I'm sure I would have scored it more highly, as the lack of colour really doesn't suit this picture. 6 |
