 Challenge Entry No. 135

Well I didn't have time to shoot for gold this week so here I am at 2am on Sunday morning shooting for this challenge. This weekend is out for me shooting wise as I am doing the San Mateo Street Painting Festival.

I had no ideas for gold and no props. I did melt my Mr. T starter kit though :)

This image is so abstract that I think it will suffer the wrath of the DPC voter :)

Well this is a little wierd. I pulled a shot for critique from a photographer I have great respect for who may not be able to see it for a year...

Anyways, This is an abstract shot (if you didn't notice) and that is not an area of photography that really moves me. I tend to be more conservative. I do like the golden tones of this. Simple color schemes are something that I do appreciate. I really like the three big bubbles (?) with the three little bubbles right next to it. It's like a repeating patter. However, all the rest of the bubbles are kind of distracting. If they were not there I think that this would be a bit more powerful.

Sorry it's not much of a critique, but I really don't have my heart in it what with your circumstances being what they are.

Hmm, what exactly am I looking at here? It looks like some sort of syrup or a piece of amber with a lot of bubbles in it. Excellent strong color and abstract look.
