Wow that is fantastic!! I love the illuminated wings. Too bad that upper purple branch is there. The contrast between the wings and background is exceptionally well done. Excellent! 8. You are the winner so far. :)

The backlighting really shows off the patterns in this guy's wings. Great focus.

The colours and the backlighting of the wing really works for this shot. One of my favorites for the challenge.

Fantastic, I'm a sucker for drinking butterfly shots. This would be perfect without the extra stem of purple flowers in the top left. The butterfly is nicely lit. 9

Pretty shot - nice and sharp with pleasant colours. It's a shame the butterfly's left antenna gets lost in the blue flowers, though. And I think the whole thing would benefit from being just a tad brighter. I like the backlighting on the wings.

A beautiful, clear shot! The contrasting colors of the butterfly and the flowers, gives the picture its final, perfect touch! :)
