When my dear daughter complains about poses, I am going to point her at this picture. You might want to be careful. In the Land of Litigation, this is probably actionable. Your only fall back is that Florida is one of the few states that cannot take from you your primary dwelling place in a bankruptcy case ;-) |

That is some effort you put in there both in the setup and in post. Now how long did it take her to get all of that stuff off afterwards? |

Saw this in your portrait thread. I had no idea this was a real person. The pose is so perfect, that I assumed it was a figurine. Now I wish I'd given you a higher score. |

Wow Cindi this is fantastic, I would have scored it 11 at least ;-) Underrated for sure.
Savanah is a great model and I love what you did with the lighting and post processing. You are one of the people that makes DPC so great... |

not sure if you read my comment in the "portrait lighting"-thread, but I just wanted to say I really love your entry. To think of all the work you put in here to create a beautiful image. Great job, and ofcourse also for your model! |

IMHO, 95% of the credit goes to the model. She should get the Golden Globes award. I hope the E-glue came off. I wonder if vaseline or hair gell would get similar results. Maybe a more static, solid black background would've shown off the glitter.
Just as a suggestion for others, you may if you haven't already, experiment beforehand with a piece of fruit, using glue or other methods to get the best proposed lighting/backgrounds afterwards. |

Hi Cindi, this is a great move for you and Savannah, who really deserves a great deal of the credit for being so beautiful and cooperative...I love the background and the pose...only thing is that glue problem with the bits missing around her face...lovely work. congratulations! |

The fact that you cut off her ankles and feet really bothers me here... I would suggest either a whole body shot or a much tighter shot of her upper body and face... especially with that blob of gold fabric in the bottom right hand corner... looks like you did a lot of prepping for this shot... I wonder who many images you actually took? I think you might have been able to come out with something better. don't forget to try different angles... and to just shoot as much as possible. |

I'm not sure if there should be reward or penalty for this much effort! It'll be interesting to read exactly what this involved :) - It does work btw! |

I am sorry, but this person almost looks TOO young to be doing this... either that, or my being a father of 3 young girls is catching up with me! Ummmm... very nice lighting, and overall a wonderful job!!! |

Wow, not only is it beautiful but I think your model deserves her own blue ribbon for getting covered in all that gold paint. Anyway great shot and a 10 from me. |

Nice image and I love the background, but your presentation of gold is a bit in the twee side...
I have given you the following ratings
Meeting the Challenge 0-1-2 = 2
Overall look, feel and composition 0-1-2 = 1
Creativity 0-1-2 = 1
Quality and execution 0-1-2 = 2
WOW effect and first impression 0-1-2 = 1
Final : 7 |

I love the background and lighting in this... a superb shot...my only negative would be the gold that's missing in certain parts (ears, arms) distracts a little, but I won't take marks away for that 9 |
