Photo was taken of a diecast #20 race car using a orange shirt as the background. Bounce flash, on camera, was used aimed at the ceiling. Taken in RAW, converted to JPEG, filtered through Noisware (trying to smooth out the "background"). Then a small levels adjustment, guasian blur to the background, radial blur to the tires, then motion blur added to entire photo. Border added, reduced to 640 pixels and uploaded.

This is my first entry... hope I am not at the bottom!

Doesn't do anything for me.

I would guess I'd say that the sense of motion makes this better than just a toy car sitting on orange paper. Also, there seems to be a shadow of some sort along the top edge on the right that should have been cropped out.

I like the motion blur effect here, though many people here may hate it. I think this picture would look better if you used a flash with a slow shutter speed and then moved the car. It would keep the car sharp and give it a "motion trail."

Would like better without dark shadow in upper right edge. A more even orange background across the top would help draw attention to the car. The motion effect is nice.

A different driver would probably score you more "10's"!

J/K (kind of) Very cool shot. Love the motion blur!

interesting. nice use of action photography. While I am sure many will say that they wish it were in focus, I think it is interesting the way that it is. Good "outside the box" shot.

I know you might not be getting a ton of high scores on this one, but I love it. Great job!
