Looks like it was taken hand held with slightly too low of a shutter speed and then sharpened to try and make up for it.

Very creative and effective angle. The focus on the head is great. I wish the DOF was greater; having the wings out of focus makes them seem detached from the butterfly.

I like the closeness of the shot although I would have liked to see the entire butterfly.

Great captured pose. The colors could be brought out a bit and the focus is a little fuzzy.

This would be a ribbon if only the depth of field were a little bigger and more of the butterfly was in focus, particularly the head...

Good shot! Me thinks you have a good chance here, although with that many bugs at once, who knows what will happen :) This one's one of my favourites this time. I love the crop, and the title, the whole thing fits together well. Good job! ~10

Great perspective-focus is just too soft for my eye. I love the colors. Nice going.

I believe this is a moth...I may be mistaken.

This is nice. I like the way you haven't tried to include the whole butterfly but have concentrated on its face. I like the composition (and the way the wings frame the head) and sharpness/DOF is good. Perhaps just a little more light on the face would have helpd (fill flash?) but this is still a nice shot. Well done.
