Kita modelling for me once again. I really liked this cloth and finally had the chance to use it.

Used two 1000W lights on each side with umbrellas. The one on my left at 3/4 power and the one on the right at full power. Overhead fluoro light.

Lovely portrait, intriguing expression with eye contact, contrasts in shining and smooth tones. I agree that the eyes could use a touch more illumination, but the capture is just wonderful.

Wow. I didn't vote in Gold and didn't see this one until now. Yeah, you're right getting a portrait shot to do well in these challenges is no easy task. I would have expected this to do far better than it did.

I love this image! It almost has a medieval feel to it! I would of preferred slightly more brightness in the eyes but other than that it's perfect! Well done again Judi!

Great emotion in those eyes and her posture. They match the title perfectly.

And the strong contrast between her nose and her face, and then between her head and the background, lend an air of mystery, as if she's seeing you in a deep alley.

She looks like a young Nicole Kidman. I'm not really getting "gold" but it is a nice portrait. I might work on the skin tones as they are a touch orangy/red. Great detail and the lighting is good. NOt crazy about that lurex looking fabric.

I recognize this girl. Is it Judi's daughter Kita? Correct me if I'm wrong. Lovely shot. I like the expression on her face. The whole image is a bit too red in my opinion though. Even her eyes are red.

Though there is not much of "gold" gold in this photo, but the beauty herself is golden enough to fit the theme :) I just wish the background was a little more in contrast with the subject. Still very well executed. The expression is priceless. This will surely be in top 10.Goodluck.9.
