This had been hanging out in a vase on my window sill for a week or so and it was nearing time to throw it out. I shot it immediately after the challenge was announced and liked it so it's in. Orange paper, faded flower, ambient light.
Slight crop, levels, resize, saved for web.

I like this but there is something flat about it. Could be the lighting. The placement of the flower and use of negative space is good. Maybe a bit of burn around the petals would help it out a bit. Hope this is helpful. ;~D
