Looks like much fun is going on over there, but how do I get there?? Do I swim, do I walk around? Clearly, I swim!

Alison, thanks for your comment on my beach entry I thoguth I would give you a comment too. i think it is too hard to see what is going on and you will get better score with straight horizon and larger photos. Here is the link to the tutorial mentioned in your comments during the challenge. Thanks again for your comment.

I can see there was an idea here, but I don't think it worked. Hate those slightly skewed horizons ..

Interesting concept, nice colors. Why so small - it loses a lot of punch.

photo is too small imo....also the horizon is not level

i give it a 3

The image is a little too small and also there's not a whole lot going on here. The most interesting part is what I can barely see (the umbrellas). Maybe this isn't an option but I would try and shoot this at higher ground or at least shoot this at an angle rather than just a straight on shot.

Great job

I'd have levelled it a little more...leaning towards the left to much.

Is the horizon slanted on purpose? I somehow don't think it adds to the image doing so

I like this with the subtle umbrella color ...
more size and clarity would help others see this great idea in a new light.

Read the size your photo should be for submission.

too small to judge...you should use your 600px allocation...horizon is off as well
07/18/2006 09:20:28 PM
Unique perspective, wondering why you did not straighten?

The horizon is tilted - a distraction for me. The image also is too small. Try going over the tutorial available on DPC to maximize the use of the 640 pixel size allowed
