I think this actually is what's known as a fishing spider - we've decided to keep a particularly large specimen in a terrarium for the winter. Ours is quite large & the kids love it. |

On the other hand - I am so not a spider person. Quite terrified of them actually. But you have taken another great macro shot of this guy. Amazing detail! |

We have one of these in our basement stairwell. I believe it's a wolf spider. Great shot. |

I'm scared to death of spiders, but love to take macro pics of them. :)
