how would they know the photo they were voting on was yours? |

A bit more DOF would have been nice to get the wing tips in focus, but this is a great insect portrait. Lots of detail and well balanced. |

Stunning shot of this dragonfly! Most of the ones I have seen haven't captivated me like this one. Fabulous!! |

Lovely shot, very well done, my only sort of suggestion (which I could not accomplish with my shot either) was to have less \'space\' behind him, giving him more room to \'fly\' into. |

Great close-up of a dragonfly, especially since those suckers don't stay in one place very long. The background could use some more colors though. |

Very tempted to give a 10 but looks like the flash is bit overdone. But what a beautiful specimen. |

Classic Dragonfly shot. I like the way you have enough DOF to almost get the whole bug in focus. You need a lot for that angle. |

Nice shot - pretty amazing DOF with the wings pretty sharp from edge to edge. What lens did you take this with? The problem with this type of shot is that you don't get too see much detail, becasue the head/body are relatively small. Background is nicely blurred. |

Excellent catch! It appears in need of a car-wash. |
