Thanks for your nice comments. I used BW cause the coloured one showed not very aesteticaly spots on the cherry. It was the only one left and wasn't that pretty. BW covered it.

I love shallow DoF, and this looks amazing! focus is spot on, composition looks great.
I do wonder why you used b&w for this photo, I think the reddish color of the cherry could also be very nice in the "background"

this is really nice and really different! Its very creative because you focused on the tip of the stem instead of the actual cherry making it original. I would like to see it in color just to compare it to the B&W. Good Job ;)

B&W is the bomb ... cherry bomb that is, fabulous work.

Great use of shallow DOF and choice of where to place the focus and turning it into high contrast black and white definitely distances it from the idea of food!

I love this! The composition is great, how the stem leads you into the cherry (?) itself. The focus on the stem tip is excellent. The blown out part on the top of the cherry really bothers me, but otherwise, great job!

It really is inviting... The sharp focus catches your eye then it's drawn down the stem to the ripe fruit. I like :)

I don't know if it's "abstract" but I love the perspective!
