Great job! I don't know where Alamere is, but this shot makes me want to find out! It's a gorgeous shot. The colors are phenomenal. The reflection in the water is also very nice! The ONLY thing that I don't like in this shot is the waterfall. It just seems to stick out like a sore thumb, a black box in the middle of the orange cliffs. But I am raising my original vote from 5 to 8, as this photo meets the challenge without leaving me to wonder how it fits the theme, and for the technical merit and overall beauty.

This will do well. Its got beach, its got beauty. Lovely find. Think I'd like a little closer crop so the edge wasn't visible at the top. The colors also seem a bit too vibrant, but that's what DPC likes (and I do it too).

Alamere Falls in Point Reyes National Seashore ;) This is sweet. I haven't really seen Alamere as wispy as this one. The reflections make it really wonderful. (7)

you've got some pretty serious haloing going on here...to me, that amount of processing detracts from what is naturally a beautiful scene.
