Greeting from the critique club. I have looked over your photo and have a few suggestions. First off I do like the dof use here, and the angle for your photo. I would suggest next time possibly coloring the pasta to add a splash of color to the photo. I'd also suggest a change in the background color. Something white or black to help the subject stand out. Pretty good and even lighting all across the photo. Overall well done. Good luck in future challenges.

Cool idea... definately goes with the abstract theme! I would suggest adding some sort of color enhancement to the photo to make it "pop."

If the background was white or black instead of grey I think this would be a bit improved.

Another pic has this same shot but filling the frame, I think that the full frame works slightly better.
