 Winter time not much action on the beach. Thought I would shoot some surfing action. Here is one I loved!

LIKE THE BOARD AND DIAGONAL IT CREATES. MIGHT CROP OUT SKY TO EXAGGERATE BOARD COLORS AND SIMPLIFY IMAGE

Great job! I love the brightness of the reflection of the surboard! The colors throughout this photo are very nice and I love the movement of the wave crashing behind her. I'm upping my original vote from 5 to 7 on this one, and thanks for meeting the challenge dead on without having to make me think about how it's fitting the theme.

Very nice texture, reflections, and color on the beach and water. The sky is a little off in color, IMO. Looks more "C" than blue. But still a good beach shot. Something that one would expect to find.

Fantastic color, the board makes a great reflection. I like the lines of the subject, sand, waves, and coastline all together, plenty to look at, but the other surfers are a bit distracting. What are the chances you could have the beach all to yourself??? Oh well. Good luck.

I would suggest a tight crop on the main surfer, her board, and her reflection on the beach - it would make the overall image stronger. As is, it's still well done :-)

I think you may have pushed the blue in this photo too far. I can see noise in the upper rleft hand corner.
