I've been trying all week to get a good web shot, but the light never seems to be exactly what I want... well except on the first web I shot, but it was empty.

pp - adjusted levels and curves, played with the contrast and the saturation, cropped, sized and sharpened.

Margie, thanks for your comment on ym ont he beach entry I tought I would return the favor. The firs thing I notice is the file is only 91 kb and 605 px large, instead of closer to the max 150 kb and 640 px max allowable size. Here is a
link to the tutorial for preparing submission for challenges using photoshop. I think this would have helped with all the fine deatils in the photo. I think if you had been a bit better focused it may have helped also. But I love the spider web lines and this a good attempt. thanks again

The DOF is very nice, but I would like to see the net a little sharper.

I like your idea but feel that you have lost a lot of detail. I think that is the result of two problems. First - your focus is not quite spot on and second - the backgroud behind the web is too busy. Try placing a black card behind the web next time. Keep up the good work - I can't wait to see your next submission.
