 Second trip of three days in a row down to these rocks at sunset to get this shot. I took 877 total photos of the beach this week.
Thanks to Cristin's family for making the shot =).

Editing:
Levels, Color Balance, Curves, Color Balance, Hue/Saturation, Color Balance, Neat Image, Color Balance, Crop, Color Balance, Size, Color Balance, USM, and a final tweak in the Color Balance. (the color wasn't actually shifted that much, but did lots of tweaking to get it correct).

Thomas, thanks for your comment on my on the beach entry and thought I would give you a comment back. This is a great shot and congrats on your top ten finish. Hard to find too much to critique on this imagem the only thing I would have like to seen is the foreground be a bit brighter, but thats just personal taste. THanks for your comment again and this is a really nice shot.

Great job! This photo has alot happening. I really liked the colors in the sky, especially the red toward the right hand side of the rocks. I loved the silhoutte feel to this whole thing. I loved the reflection and calm that this photo generates. I also love the bit of haze that the bottom of the back rock seems to be arising from. I'm giving this a 9.

Very beautiful photo with some great color. Gets a little busy in the bottom half though, with the reflections crossing over the sand bars.

Awesome title to an equally awesome beach shot with that quiet symbolism of father/son mirrored in the two sea stacks in the foreground (including the shape of their heads!) and the mysterious sea stack in the background as the unseen generation, grandfather who looks on unseen from off the edge of the frame, evoking a sense of greater than time and space...lovely and one of my favorites in this challenge!
