WOW! You are right to be afraid... those steps are very steep.

The reason I picked this photo is because it makes me feel like I'm looking into a huge cave, and something could be waiting for me just around the corner - ready to pounce and tear me apart. Sorry if I scared you! :)

I see the perspective, anyway.

Is this by any chance the Duomo in Florence, Italy? I have a very similar picture from trip in 1994.

Two mirrors.
Would have benefitted from being shot in the dark, with your own lighting brought in, methinks.
