Definitely meets the challenge; looks like the student did pretty well, too. Well photographed for what it is; probably not standalone picture outside the challenge, though.

Good idea but even if the paper was not been very white, I would have liked to see it whiter for this shot. You should also try to add sharpness to improve it.

Looks all a bit soft and grey to me !! I also cant find the WOW effect in this picture.... photographing a pice of paper is rather boring unless you approach it from a dramatic angle and play with the setting of the object. Sorry just honest !!
