The different skin tones kind of kill the effect, not to mention the ketchup-for-blood. If your interested let me know - I'll send you a shot of my similar real-life oops. Someone suggested it after the challenge was over. :-(

Nice idea and good setup - I think the knife blade should look more metallic though. Also, why is there no 'blood' coming from the finger-stump?

Oh good god...the lengths people will go to win a ribbon these days! I hope that wasn't your shooting finger! Wow you are gonna get some comments though I bet! Definitely about as 'oops!!' as you can get. Already way too real looking, but maybe a little more realistic blood and some on the stub would have helped.

This is more of an eew rather than oops. The "stunt" finger looks too pressed against the board. Also, you forgot to add blood to the "stump" finger.

Urgh!What a gross photograph!But it brings across the idea of "oops" much better than some of the others. It's also very cleverly set up (I'm assuming you didn't really chop off your finger) and it's a good compositionl

remember that both sides of the finger would have blood, and actually the part on the hand would have more blood, because it would still be pumping.
