 I consider this to be my first successful photograph. Just so it's clear, the color is REAL, meaning that I didn't change it or swap colors. I don't have the tools for that anyway. It is however dyed, but I didn't do that. Anyway, I love al the shades in this one, I just wish I could fix the way it's cropped, but that's how I originally took it. Sigh.

Well, damn. My one comforting thing about my photography and my dad dying was that I THOUGHT that he had seen my first successful one. Unfortunately, I see the date is a month after he died. Sigh...

I love that color! The blue makes this rose look beautiful and you captured the detail well. The greenery in the back compliments the strong blue middle. Well captured!
