Awesome photograph! I really love the long exposure effect on the water and clouds, my two favourite subjects by far. Clarity is just so appealing here, as are the specular lights, soft pastel feel to the colour, and the wonderful angle you've achieved for this composition over the water. Well done, a very satisfying image. |

Oh my gosh! First, congratulations on meeting your prediction by getting a new personal best and a 6.0+ score! Second, and more importantly, this is a breathtaking photograph! The perspective is excellent and the composition, with the soft water and the line of clouds, frames the line of boats beautifully. The colors are soft and not too overpowering, adding to the peaceful, serene feeling this image beautifully imparts. Very, very well done! |

Trading Post - COngrats on a new high score and your breakthrough into the 6s. This is a beautiful shot. Nice colors overall, with advanced editing you may have been able to play with them som emore. A bit soft on the boats, but what can you do with the 20 sec exposure. Next time maybe try to get in the tops of all the masts and less water below to frame it in just right. The starbursts look nice and the water has a great texture to it. I am not sure what time you took the shot but I would guess if you had hung out another hour or so you may have gotten some richer colors in your skyline. I found that there is about a ten to fifteen minute window of the truly amazing stuff and everythign around that is just good. But again - great shot and congrats on your score, PB and a wonderful placing amongst the 375+ entries. WEll done! |

Wonderful scene! Love the flow of the water! Might have a little too much crop'd off the top (lost the building top and 1 mast). 9 |
