I had an outtake much like this for the last Perspective challenge. I thought I'd reshoot it as I always liked it, plus I thought I'd add Laine to the mix (dang, she's so cute with those pigtails).

Shot at a local independent theater (www.libertytheater.com) in Camas. The trickiest thing was making sure I could line up that top row of lights to make them as centered as possible. It's still slightly off. I shot at ISO800 due to some dumb mistakes (I had a ND filter on the lens when I didn't need it...d'oh!) and that made me have to use NI pretty heavily.

Hopefully I'll get the schmaltz vote... 8)

Cool image. Was this after hours or did you just tell other customers to stay out of the shot?

this is priceless, the expression on the girls face, the boy's back facing the camera, the bulb lights in the celine, the color, everything, well done

Love this shot, great use of leading lines in the lights up in the cealing and good choice to make it sepia, gives it an timeless feel, like this could have also been taken in the 1920´s and not this week. An instant favorite, love the simplicity about it and especially the composition.

What is not to like about this shot. I think this belongs in a museum! Fantastic! Such a great perspective shot for 2 reasons. The pose of the children is brilliant!

Great perspective and depth here. I love the coloring, and there is a great emotional value too. The little girl turned around is a perfect touch. Great job. Probably my favorite. 10

I would call this an authoritativelybalancede composition. Lines, symmetry, distance, and the two little blotches in the middle to make a picture of it 8 - 9 - ahwhat the . . . - 10

The boy's stance reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting. I like it.

Great positioning of the kids, it really adds to the picture. Lights above are a bit blown out.

I really like this - great composition, and the children looking in opposite directions adds interest to the shot - it wouldn't have been nearly as good without them. One of my favourites.
