| this is a great picture. its score will probably suffer because it's not supersharp, but why should a portrait be supersharp? The lines in the background create a dynamic backdrop hinting at the subject's energy, which here is subdued only for a moment, and also resonates with the creases on her jersey, and her angular arms. Everything is just right, including the crop. 9 |
