Wow, is that really a baseball? Great macro, very close up. Reversed lens??? Good lighting too - nice and bright with no reflections.

Super! This is obviously >1:1 magnification... did you crop from a larger image? While I like your choice of DoF, I'm wondering if bringing the center of focus to the center of the seam would have made this even better?

The contrast of the colours works very well here, i know how difficult it can be to get the dof with such a close up. well done
