Lovely title and indeed an image that evokes a light touch of sadness for things that have passed. Congratulations on your top 20 finish. |

Texture, texture and more texture, yet it isn't too busy. Great use of off centering of the boat. Nice finish. |

I can see why you might be upset about your "Progress" score. It looks like you've raised your bar with this one.
I think it looks very "sharpened", but doesn't strike me as "oversharpened". For this image, I feel like the processing just serves to add interest. Great colors and textures! Nice work. |

Looks a bit overly sharpened, but has great composition!
The colours are great, and I like the dark fall-off in the distance.
This is a great example of the fact that you don't need to take a photo of the WHOLE boat (dingy / canoe / Titanic / whatever) to prove to the viewer that they're looking at a boat.
Hope to see you in the top photos!
(The sharpening got you a 9, sadly...) |

too much processing to my taste, i'm not sure if it's the sharpening, or some kind of filter. I think the garbage scattered around actually helps this shot, but I couldn't tell you why. |

I like the grunge effect that serves this subject to a "T" |

Interesting to look at. Well put together. Colors saturated fine. Perhaps a little high on contrast? Overall, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |
