This is better than your entry but you're right it wouldn't have done as well due to much less motion blur so good decision.

These guys are just so cute and fun to try and photo. I managed to capture one myself that I like, but too many were blurred or the bird had moved too fast.

Man, this one is even better than your ribbon winner. The wings are more in focus which I think would have really wowed people if they weren't already wowed with the first one.
