Very cool shot - a shame about the DQ. It happens and like you said, at least it wasn't a processing issue (although I think in many of those cases no one is intentionaly trying to get away with anything. Sometimes just go a little too far or are not sure exactly where the boundaries are). I figure I'll get one at some point too unfortunately - happens to lots of folks. Anyway - I really like this pic and voted it 7 during the challenge. Great lighting and softness and the reflection really adds a cool dimension.

Very stunning. Could crop so it is centered a bit better (more to left) and perhaps lighten the image a tad.

I really like this. The lighting makes it seem so roundish...like an egg. Square cropping works really well here, too.

If yo udidn't write that this is a paper roll, I would not see it: I see some strange 3D object. Cool effect. A tighter crop woudl be better, IMO.

Good shot overall - though I wish there was just a bit more light to bring out the curves a touch more. I am guessing that on some monitors you may have lost too much detail - not mine but others.

This has a metallic look to it and is very appealling to the eye. Definitly one of my favorites.

That thing looks awesome! Great light/tones. I think I would prefer a tighter crop, or a wider crop. As it is, it just seems a bit awkward. But that's totally personal taste. Looks a bit "processed", but in a good way. Nice work. Good luck in the challenge.
