 Glass bottles wash up in the backyard of my beach house from time to time. This one was quite unique. I was shocked to see that not only was there a paper message in the bottle, but it had survived the water with only minor damage to the paper after being stopped up with a piece of a branch. When I saw the bottle I knew I had to take a picture to remember the moment. After taking the pic and setting the camera aside, I broke the tip off the glass bottle using a log on the beach. I cut my hand on a shard of glass, and knew at that moment that I wasn\'t meant to be the recipient of the letter. With one hand I was able to untie the string, which was simply a dried vine, and unroll the paper. What I found written on that scroll was inspiring:

The white paper kind of gets lost. I like the composition overall, but maybe a brightly colored note would work better?

A pleasing image that is well executed. I would have liked a different title; however, I can't honestly say I have a better one.

Well executed. The bubbles in the background muddle up the glass unfortunately, probably something not controllable. =)
