 Glass float in driftwood. Shot at Lincoln Park beach in Seattle on a rare 92 degree sunny day! It's my wife's glass float and taking a picture came second fiddle to not accidentally dropping the ball on the beach rocks!

Shot in RAW with basic cropping, levels, saturation & USM in Photoshop.

Very nice detail on the driftwood; nice way to show the glass ball in what may have one time been a natural setting, if it's one of those float balls.

Looks like too much driftwood. It's doing too good of hiding the colors you want to show us, I think.

Its kind of hard to tell what that is. i can assume from the challenge that its glass but it doesnt look like a jewel. im not sure if thats what you were going for anyway as those are found in rock not wood. the technicals are good. sharp, ok lighting.
