Wow, I'm very happy about the result :D This was my first submission to DPC (or any photography challenge for that matter) ever, and I can't believe how it turned out. I have to thank everyone who voted and commented on my picture.
About the red/yellow area in the bottom left, I have no clue as to how that can be made into the same blue that you can see in front of the green apples, with Basic editing rules only. Everything I tried ruined the red apple. Would have done a retake with different light setup if there was time.
I also have to add that DPC is one of the biggest sources of inspiration for me when it comes to photography, and I am learning incredibly much from this site! Thanks everyone :)

A few simple elements - prepared, presented and composed beautifully. I'm taking notes... |

Lovely crisp complimentary colours. I like this hot a lot. I would have loved to have seen the full glass apple. The yellowish tint in the bottom left corner (and also a little on the top right of the apple) detract from an otherwise superb shot. I'm guessing another flash would have helped sort this out. |

I like the concept! I'm just not sure about the composition. I think for me there's too many apples, and it would have been more effective with just 2 granny smiths and the glass apple, and shot with a tighter crop. For me, the empty space in the shot doesn't really enhance the subject. I would have preferred to see all of the glass apple instead. |

I like. Nice to have a use for that glass apple, huh? |

I like the idea, I just wish you hadn't cut off the bottom of the glass apple. |

Great job on this picture. The only thing that I think detracts from it a little bit is the warm light in the lower-left corner of the image. But removing that would probaby have a negative effect on the red apple, so it's all good. Good job. |

Nice idea... but I wan't to see the lower part of the glass-apple! Great colors. I like the condensed water. |

I wish the crop wasn't so tight at the bottom. Good strong image with lovely contrasting colours |

The POV and crop don´t put value on the glass apple. The crop itself can reverse that issue. |

I would rather see the same color under all the apples - all blue would be nice. The change of color is a little distracting. |
