I brightened this, adjusted the overall levels a little bit. Dodged the lower right hand corder to remove some lens flare. I lowered the red levels, and touched up a few places. Ran it through neat image once, USM. Saved for web.

---Greetings from the Critique Club!---

First impression - Not much motion going on here

Overall this is a very nice image. I don't think it meets the challenge very well. I don't get a sense of motion even though the hair is blurred due to the slow shutter speed.

There also appears to be dust on you sensor. There are distracting elements in the shadow area of the hair and on the face.

The composition is very good. The eye is an excellent focal point, and cutting the nose and mouth in half emphasizes the hair over the face.

The upper right corner is complete blown out. It doesn't bother me but some of the DPC voters may have issues with it.

Neat Image looks a bit overdone for this image.

This shot probably would have done much better in a different challenge.

I hope this was helpful. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

and windy has stormy eyes that flash at the sound of lies and windy has wings to fly above the sky... above the sky... you convey not just the title but also the zeitgeist of that song. 7

There seems to be a lot of dust in the scene, and the bright space to the upper right is overpowering.

A good concept. But the hair needs to be speed-blurred, rather than just out of focus, to carry it off. Some more lighting on the face would've helped too, I think.

I really like this image. It envokes nice emotion. The motion blur is not prominent, but that is ok. I love the lighting. 10

VERY COOL- I like the subtlety of it. Great focus on her face and eyes. Love the freckles. The movement of her hair and earring is just enough to really work for the challenge. Good job. 10

I'm at a loss here. It looks like your sensor is rather dirty or your lens has water spots on it, and I'm not really feeling like she's in much wind to tell you the truth.
