As a photo of rope, this works well. Good detail and nicely framed.

But the "glass" element is a bit lacking, unfortunately. If it had been a cleaner, more transparent sphere you might have been able to get some interesting reflections and refractions going.

I love the rope, not so fond of the glass. It looks dull and dirty. Maybe that was your intention.

Nice idea, I think these were some kind of fishing thing, buoys or something. I did need to think about what I was looking at though. Nice detail in the rope.

I think the rope is more interesting than the glass in your photo. Seeing more of the object might help switch the subject to the glass. I like the colors.

Nice closeup of what I guess is a glass float. I'd crop off about the bottom 20% so it would be so centered and that would get rid of the rope that is out of focus as well.

It's barely noticable, but what's going on in the left edge of the image? That's some weird distortion. Well executed picture.

focus of the photo is on the knotwork, rather than the glass - its become the background rather than the main subject. Without the title it'd be hard to know this was glass.
