Okay, I see multi-colored plastic wrap or something like that. So? It gives a nice abstraction but, for my taste, there's still something missing to give it visual interest.

For those that are just learning, like me.

Composition: Scoring in this area is based on basic composition of a picture and includes the rule of thirds, balance, cropping, and curved and diagonal lines. Subject matter that does not lend itself to the picture or otherwise unwanted is also considered here.

Originality: Scoring in this area is based on pictures or concepts that I have seen, as well as how much effort you have invested in the picture. Usually a little something that sets it aside from a snapshot. Does it make me want to come back for another look? You know things like that.

Technical Aspects: Focus, exposure, lighting, and other special effects (done by the camera), and post processing are all considered in this category.

Meets Challenge: This is based on my interpretation of if you, have/have not, met the challenge. This is fairly simple but quite important for this site.

There are many sites that can give you assistance in achieving better skills in photography, but I think the best way to learn is to take pictures and show them to other people. Believe me when it is a good one you will know it.

Good luck!

The texture is nice and except for the one very hot highlight, well lit. It is a wallpaper shot. I'd prefer to have an element of focus, even if it were an introduction of something smooth in the same hue somewhere within the composition.

Interesting concept but the shot is somewhat busy and the focus looks just off a bit. There is also some noticable JPG compression in the shot, I dont know if that could of been avoided with all the texture in this shot.5

I like the colors on this. Also, how did you keep the reflections/glare to a minimum on an obviously shiny surface? karmat

What a riot of color! I really love the reflectiveness of this stuff!

I really like this one! Especially the colored foil. No critique as I find nothing to object about or question. I gave only four tens this week, this is one of them!

Great use of unique colors. Very rare color palette. wish it was in focus a little more though.

The texture on this photo is good, but the bright lighting and the overall impact of this particular subject doesn't really grab me very well. = 5 - jmsetzler
