What I liked: Great shot of the ladybug, I love the shallow DOF.

What I didn't like: Might have been a bit better without that second seed thing there, but I gave this a 10, obviously, I'm not holding it against you =)

Just lovely (and a nice bit of bokeh in there too!). I wasn't aware that ladybugs (we call them ladybirds in England....) are lucky, but I'll take your word for it. One of my favourite shots in the challenge.

Good depth of field. The highlighs on the flower buds seem a bit blown out, but that could juts be my monitor. God luck with this!

The focus seems a tad soft. The composition and DOF draw your attention more to the flower buds than the ladybug. The ladybug seems to compete for the attention of the viewer.

Very well executed. Great focus and fantastic "Bokeh". My only quibble is that I find the lighting a bit harsh, particularly on the two buds at the right hand side of the frame, with the ensuing results being that my eye is drawn away from the main subject.

hmm, I see the legs up. I think it's alive. ;) Nicely done on the ladybug, unfortunately the rest of the lighting is harsh. Looks like it was taken between 10 and 2 o'clock. I still think it's a fairly good picture though. 7

Very nice, the pattern of the flower heads and the shallow DOF really make your subject stand out. Great job!

I think the border adds something. which is good as the image itself isnt too striking. Very nice DOF but i think i bloomed flower somehwere in the composition even if it was in the back and blurred would have added alot.

Maybe a much closer crop would ad this image. The bud next to it, is larger than the subject and a distractant.
