Hello and greetings from the Critique club. I have went over your entry for a bit. I have some suggestions that may have helped. And also some praise for things done right. First what you did right, shooting through glass is tough, relflections and flatness are usually a big issue, you have over come this pretty well. I like the colors and you did a great job of keeping in time during the shutter actuation, the fish isnt tach sharp, but is really well focused and looks good. This is tough to do with fish, very unpredictable things they are. The composition is pretty good however as you noted in your notes. DPC folks dont like centering and that hurt you, however it adds to your shot because you are able to show more panning motion. Overall pretty good, perhaps could have moved him over to the right side a bit, and left motion blur on the left. Or used left or right focus points and not had to crop it. Anyway I think you did well in a tough challenge.
Good luck with future challenges. |

Cool idea, though I wish the fish were in better focus. |

Aquarium shots are not easy. This is pretty decent. Mine are far worse. Including one of my aquarium gardens. |

Nice job of keeping the fish in focus and panning for the motion blur. Gourami? ;^) |
