I like this. The rotational blur of the wheel and the brake disc, combined with the directional blur in the background, convey exactly the right sense of movement. This is helped by the reasonably large chunk of empty road to the left of the photo for the bike to "move into".
I think monochrome is the right choice here. The slightly excessively chrome trim on the bike is definitely 50s heritage, and monochrome helps to reinforce that.
I can't help feeling that I would've liked to have seen just a little more of the bike in the shot, but I can't work out how I would've done that without spoiling the overall composition. So it's probably about right as it is.
Must've been a tricky shot to take, too... |

A bit grainy but good concept. |

I dont think there is enough background to show significant motion blur on this guy. i initially didn't think i saw any at all. i do like the concept though and the black and white really makes this shot. i think the grain gives it a nice effect as well. |

richer blackswould be bonus (my taste) but otherwise a nice conversion. I like the blur of the wheel & road. rest of bike seems to just fall off the page, maybe showing a bit more of it would keep that visual effect from happening. It would also put the wheel off center and help execute the "rule of thirds" better |

Very nicely done. A little sharper and less grainy and I give it a 10. |

The contrast is a little soft, aside from that, everything else seems great! |

I'm not sure the empty space on the left is doing this much good - I'd prefer to see it (the empty space) cropped to about a third of what you've got there. The tones in this are excellent - love teh processing. Maybe just a skoosh more contrast? Print it on excellent paper, put a big white matte on it with a sleek black frame and hang it somewhere where lots of people can see it - it's art! 8 |

Gone are the days of kickstarts, right. Nicely composed image. |
