 contrast,brightness,sharpen,adjust tint,resize,save for web.I used indirect reflected halogen lighting, a low ISO and a high F stop to achieve a long shutter speed. Not real happy with the result but it was a last minute thing.

This shot just looks dull. I'm not sure this was the right subject for this challenge.

Good composition and subject, and the sharpness is pretty good, but the murky grey-green background is yuck. Increase the contrast to make the background darker - black or close to it - and make the plant just a little brighter, and you'll find the image has a lot more impact.

Your focus is ok, but the pic could benifit from a levels/contrast adjustment because you have a yellow color cast on the image...also nothing about it lends to the notion of "30 Seconds or More"

The focus doesn't quite seem sharp here. The leafs disappear into the background colours too much aswell. Perhaps if it was better lit.
