In response to the forum thread: I prefer this one, the one you entered.

I believe this isn't what they call "good bokeh" (something about the shapes and just exactly how they should look, depending on the lens bla bla bla).
However, THIS bokeh shouts to me - water, cool, swimming pool, etc - and therefore truly enhances the subject much more than the other ones which simply have a blurred background.

Delightful creative idea. A pity highlights are a tad overblown and there seems to be some noise levels too. No expert but something's not right technically here to make this nice photo into something really gorgeous. 6.

I'm thirsty now . I probably would have preferred a smooth blue back ground, but this particular aspect of bokeh with the lights, works with your subject matter. Good job over all.

Very good lighting. It feels fresh. If composition was a bit less heavy at the bottom, and if glasses were not cut off the way they are, composition would be much better. Glasses area bit too full too. Depthof field is excellent.
