| Good portrait of the raptor. The background has some nice colour tone and the vertical lines add strength to the image. The vertical lines also coordinate will with the somewhat vertical lines on the chest of the bird. |

| Very nice photo, the low angle and the tilt of his head give him a real sense of strength and pride. Very nice non-competing background sets the subject off but doesn't clash at the same time. |

| Love the tones but the centered subject works less well for me. Would have preferred more room on the right to follow its gaze. |

| beautiful, wow! it looks like reeds or cat-o-nines in the background, which is interesting since the title denotes sky. seems more of a field-lord to me. Love the ruffled feather in front - that makes it!!! |

| Feathers are tangibly soft. The background bokeh seems to work well too. |

| great in terms of "posture", colors, and light. Framed a bit tight perhaps, especially at the bottom and top. |

| Background is quite nice, but I would have preferred a different crop on the bird and maybe offsetting it to one side would have helped composition. |
