| The oof areas look pretty ugly and does not enhance the picture in any way. The centered composition makes this a very average entry. |

| Definitely meets the challenge and exhibits proper bokeh. The subject matter leaves me wanting (not because it's a flower - I have nothing against flowers - it just lacks a "wow" factor for me). Good luck! |

| without leaf in the pic it would have been more dramatic of a bokeh effect but without leaf it would have been boring.. |

I like how the background leaves evoke the shapes of the foreground leaves.
The right side of the bud's a little blown out, and I'd like to see it a little off-center left-right, but I'm voting 7. |
