Fun idea. The pepper's washed out, though, as is the hand holding it. since you're opening up the aperture to get the narrow DOF, try doing this without a flash. Your shutter speed might still be low enough to keep the ppper sharp.

I like the idea and well the title explains it well ..wouldn't have guessed it otherwise. Bokeh is nice! Execution of the shot is not the best though .. I am guessing you used an on camera flash, which has created a lot of hot spots and harsh shadows. Finger and the hair at top are distracting.

Moving the Pepper futher from the face would have increased the DOF creating a more of a Bokeh.
