I really like this idea, but I think it would have more immediate impact if the ant were more toward the bottom right third so he popped into view a little sooner. Good response to the challenge. |

Sorry, but I am not convinced of Desolation.
Definitions of desolation on the Web:
*devastation: the state of being decayed or destroyed
*bleakness: a bleak and desolate atmosphere; "the nakedness of the landscape"
*forlornness: sadness resulting from being forsaken or abandoned
*devastation: an event that results in total destruction |

Nice idea. The depth of field just doesn't feel quite right. Either needed to be shallower and really isolate that ant, or should have been wider and given it more of a landscape feel. |
