 basement of a building here that\'s getting cleaned up by the school and turned into studio space. i had to lie down in broken glass to get this shot.

post: lol. in hindsight this does feel kind of like a 'joey' shot, doesn't it? i'm kind of flattered that about half of my commenters think so. but it was 100% unintentional.

also upon further inspection, i suppose it doesn't help that joey featured broken light bulbs in a setting similar to this one. sorry, joey...!

interesting image (what no flower??), great movement, whites bareyly in, blacks too deep, good color, nice lines, great texture, good light,

looks like a pretty tough neighborhood! The blur BG definitely adds interest - I see graphiti and a whole setting rather than the broken thing in the foreground. Translates well to several emotional reactions; fear, loneliness, danger ...
