I like this one. I wish I could see his face but otherwise the elements here are good. Maybe too desolate and depressing for this challenge?

Hi Gunnar-
This is quite a clever take on the challenge. It makes me wonder what the man is waiting for. The storm approaching really sets the mood. The exposure is perhaps a touch dark, but overall this is the best you've done lately.

I like this shot. I think it definately says 'desolation'. It's dark and gloomy, the man looks lonely and down and out, and even the flowers are past their prime. Well done!

A very moody shot. Love the ominous sky and the wet bench. Even the flowers look like they're in fetal position.

Hi from CPT2!

I love the darkness! The flowers (or should I say stems?) are a nice touch. Maybe a bit more sky at the top?

Well done:)

This fits the challenge but I would like to see a little more light on the subject as it is a little difficult to see it.

Little bit dark - could do with a little more contrast to see the bench and the person apart, great moody weather none the less...

I love how you can see little water drops on the bench. Good comp, good colors. IMHO a black border would have been better, but that is minor. 7

I like the water droplets coming off the bench. I wish they were a bit sharper though. If there were just a touch more going on in the sky (like you can control that) I would have scored it 9-10.

This is very well done. The rain and fog add to the feeling.

I like the idea, but it's a shame the model is not more prominent. I do like the muted colors.

Great title. I like the perspective and the gray clouds overhead.
