 Another crazy macro, reversing the old 50mm pentax on the 60mm macro, this time shot in the light-tent with the sigma ef500 with my milkbottle diffuse (AKA 'Mark Pennys Shitesphere') and also a halogen lamp. Spent ages perfecting my bokeh, but it all went 'peter tong' when I got the bugs, and it isnt as good as I'd hope, I used colour images from a my Physics journals! I didnt realise the baby grasshopper was even there until i looked through the viewfinder, he must have been under 1mm long. I havent a clue what the big bug is either (not a beetle or a weavil?) but he was only about 4mm long. I'd be landed if anyone gets the 'kung-fu' reference, lame as it is!

I think I'll get hammered by the DNMC police, but I really had fun and feel like I've found an area that I really want to concentrate on, mixing macro with a bit of action, and I'd appreciate any feedback on my macro skills! Its only my second really attempt!

This seem a little oversharpened. The oof area isn't very well defined and does not add to the picture. Not sure about the composition, it does not draw the eye. All in all an average entry.
