nice geometric pattern. the use of a sparkler instead of a flashlight or LED light adds an element of chaos which i like. looks rough around the edges. 8.

Beautiful geometric pattern formed by this light show. Cool concept for this challenge and quite original.

Great job on creating the pattern. Well done!

how did you get it without seeing a person neat photo
06/23/2006 08:34:30 PM
sorry, this genre of trick shot doesn't do much for me.
06/23/2006 07:54:26 PM
i wish your pattern was a bit tighter so none of it extended outside of the frame, as it makes it feel a bit messy to me.

How neat!!!!!!!!! I love it :-)

Great shot. No color cast and great detail. Sharpness like this is difficult to obtain in a long exposure like this. Well done.

How on earth did you get such a great pattern? Very impressive and fun shot. Back to bump you up.

06/21/2006 03:12:45 AM
A human spirograph? How did you get the lines so consistent?
06/21/2006 12:30:53 AM
Spyrogyra sparklet, great patterns
06/20/2006 08:59:45 PM
Cool. Must have been fun shooting.

I am going to guess that there is more work that was done on this than it looks like... The edging on the sparks looks a little different than what I expected. Further, the placement of the center of the event, plus the alignment, while it may have been unplanned, looks really cool to give a slight chaotic effect.

Neat pic...

I would have desaturated the blue and green channel to get rid of the odd stuff in the far left of the pic.
