Ah, I was right. When I lived on the Coast, I think it had a different name (and I'm not sure it had the sails). I went to lunch there once - I remember it had Captain's chairs.
Nice shot, Lisa. |

i like the softness of the clouds juxtaposed with the sharpness of the roof. i wish the building wasn't so centered, it just makes the image feel way to static for me. Reflection colors are interesting, wish you used a bit tighter aperture or waited a few more minutes, to make the overall scene darker and enhance those reflections. I think you would have still had plenty color in the sky to work with. |

For some reason the clouds distract me from the rest of the picture. |

I gotta put a question mark about the portrait orientation of this shot, to me it would have been much more natural to have this in landscape orientation and show a little bit what´s around this interesting building instead of including so much of the water and sky wich I think don´t do much for this building. If you still want portrait orientation I would suggest not having the subject so in the middle next time, try putting it either higher or lower in the frame. That said though I like this shot as it is and think it´s above average, gave it a 6. |

For some reason, this reminds me of Gosford - but it could be anywhere with a waterside restaurant. |

Maybe too much sky in here but the subject is interesting and the reflections of the lights add a lot to the picture. |
