| very interesting monument... the composition you have chosen here is quite 'literal'... I wonder if there is a tighter view of some specific element of this monument that would make a great photo without showing the entire thing? |

| This same statue stands in front of Jackson Square in New Orleans. I couldn't figure out how you got rid of the building behind this. - Nice shot |

| Very postcard. Bright, saturated colors. I'd like to see what you can do getting closer, or trying different angles. |

| A straight shot, not very creative in presentation, but technically very well done, so will probably do very well in challenge, the tones of the monument are capptured beautifully, sky and tree color is good. I do not like the whiteness on the bottom part-- I find it quite distracting to the otherwise warm tones. but what do i know. |

| Wow, the detail on this is quite amazing. It's very clear, sharp, and intricate! It's a center placement, but it looks good, nicely framed on either side by the trees. The colors are very vibrant, and the slight glow on the statue itself is good, although had it been a little more widespread and really shone it may have been even better. I like the fact that you used a part of the base too instead of just cropping the statue. Wonderful image. |

| maybe a little lower angle from the ground up would have made a stronger image, also a little later time in the day to get a not so bright sky would have been nice. |
